To make benefits easy for patients to understand, and to reduce paper confusion, Prairie States developed the "Easy EOB". Any member who has claims during a month receives a complete explanation of benefits summary that lists all of the claims paid on their behalf during that month. The monthly Easy EOB is easy to understand and eliminates piles of EOBs, and the need to make sense of them. Easy EOBs are easily downloaded from our Prairie Interactive web site, or are available in paper form. Paper EOBs may result in a surcharge to cover production and mailing costs.

Electronic EOBs save time and paper
Members receive their EOBs electronically through our secure Prairie Interactive web site. Any time a member's claim activity generates a new EOB, they receive an e-mail alert from us. Providers may also take advantage of the special reporting features of the Prairie Interactive web site by using its easy look-up capabilities and other helpful tools.
